The Moonee Valley Young People’s Committee provides people aged 12-25 who live, work, study or socialise in Moonee Valley an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and support young people-led community inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.
Expressions of interest are currently being sought for committee members.
The committee will meet for the first time in February 2016 and will meet monthly to plan, deliver and evaluate young people-led projects in line with the needs and wants of school-aged young people and young adults captured in Thrive: strategy for young people.
Members will also be supported to develop their leadership skills through training and networking opportunities throughout the year.
The Committee will operate in accordance with the Moonee Valley Young People’s Committee Operating Guidelines (pdf, 161 KB).
