We encourage Moonee Valley businesses to recycle and minimise the amount of recyclable waste going to landfill.
Business recycling bins
We provide a fortnightly recycling service for all Moonee Valley businesses for a one off cost of $50. This includes the supply and delivery of a 240 litre yellow lid recycling bin and a fortnightly collection.
To order a recycling bin for your business or if you would like further information, phone Citizen Services on 9243 8888 or send the request for recycle bin form (doc, 44KB) to council@mvcc.vic.gov.au. You can also can also return the form to us by mail or fax - information on how to do this is on the form.
We are currently conducting a survey of Moonee Valley businesses about the recycling collections we have available.
For businesses already receiving the business recycling service, please send any feedback to council@mvcc.vic.gov.au.
Transfer Station drop offs
Moonee Valley businesses can also take recyclables to the Transfer Station (188 Holmes Road, Moonee Ponds) for free.
You can recycle:
- Rigid Plastics (codes 1-7)
- Glass bottles and jars
- Steel and aluminium cans (including aerosols and clean foil)
- Paper and cardboard
- Milk and juice carton
