Applications for our 2013 Community Grants Program will open mid-2012.

Categories are:

  • Social Support Grants (up to $700 per year) are for small social support groups run by volunteers where residents meet regularly and share information and resources. Funds are provided for agreed social and recreational activities. Available to unincorporated and incorporated social support groups.
  • Community Development Grants (up to $3,000 for a year) are for projects that involve community and enhance social inclusion, health, mental health and wellbeing, promote community safety or provide an alternative to gambling. Available to incorporated organisations and unincorporated organisations provided they have an incorporated organisation with an ABN that will act as an auspice for them.
  • Arts, Culture and Event Grants (up to $5,000 for a year) are for arts, cultural and heritage activities that encourage the development of and participation in Moonee Valley's cultural life. Available to incorporated groups and individual artists or groups of artists.
  • Sustainable Environment Grants (up to $3,500 for a year) are to address the causes of environmental damage or enhance the environment in Moonee Valley. Available to incorporated groups and individuals.
