Dick Reynolds Youth Sports Scholarship
The Dick Reynolds Youth Sports Scholarship was set up as a deserving and lasting acknowledgement of the life and contribution the late Dick Reynolds made to our local community and sport.
The scholarship will advance the successful applicant’s sporting career and cover the following costs:
- event attendance fees
- travel costs and accommodation
- training and coaching
- equipment and other essential costs

Applications for the 2011/2012 Dick Reynolds Youth Sports Scholarship are now closed. The successful applicant will be notified shortly.
Applications for 2012/2013 will open on July 1 2012 and close on October 1 2012. To apply, complete the application form, attach all relevant documentation and return the completed forms to:

Individual Initiative Grant Funding Scheme
The Individual Initiative Grants funding scheme is how we acknowledge your personal and financial commitments in achieving your best results in sports, recreation or the arts and culture.
The grant offers up to $300 to bear the cost of participating in recreational activities.
How to apply
Complete the application form (pdf, 104KB).

Funding opportunities
Some ways to raise funds for your sporting, recreation, arts or cultural activities may include:
- donations from family and friends
- getting a local business to sponsor you
- contacting the governing body of your activity for information on potential grants and scholarships
Recreation Capital Works Fund Scheme
The Recreation Capital Works Fund Scheme offers financial assistance to community-based groups to renovate existing facilities, or to construct new facilities to meet the current sporting, cultural and recreational requirements of the Moonee Valley community.

How to apply
Applications for the 2011/12 financial year are now closed. Applications for the 2012/13 financial year will open in August 2012. All clubs will be notified of a mandatory Recreation Capital Works Funding Scheme Information Session which must be attended in order for clubs to be eligible under the 2012/13 funding scheme.
