I am a family man with a passion for Moonee Valley. I have been active in many areas of local life including service as an Australian Naval Officer, RACV Board member, Deputy Chair SIO Consumer Appeals Council, Board Member Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, assisted with a number of charitable and sporting events including Masters Games, Deaflympics, Pacific School Games, Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games, with the International Airshow, was a soccer referee, edited part of a bilateral magazine, ran with the Commonwealth Games Batton, won various awards, was President of the Strathmore Secondary College Parents Association and served on their College Council and more. I am a long standing blood donor with well over 480 donations, a qualified weightlifting coach and referee, and in 2010 completed a five day OHS course. I am also Vice President, Australian National Flag Association (Vic) and Secretary Essendon RSL.

What five words best describe you?

Volunteer, activist, loyal, diligent, caring.

What do you hope to achieve in your term as Councillor?

It may sound corny to some but I sincerely wish to work with our community to make things better. Together we can achieve and in these harsher economic times, with many challenges ahead, that will be a real test. Rose Hill Ward has been largely neglected for too long and the community deserves better than what they have received. You can rest assured that I will do my utmost to ensure that you are not neglected. But that means making me accountable. That means writing to me with your local area concerns. That means helping me help you.
