A library membership is free and everyone is welcome to join.
As a member you can:
- borrow books, magazines, DVDs and other resources
- attend scheduled activities such as author talks, storytimes and information sessions
- use our computers and wi-fi internet service
Joining at your local library
To sign up for a library membership, you must:
You will receive your library card immediately and will have full access to all the library services.
What is the PIN number?
When filling in the form you will be asked for a four-digit pin number. This PIN is required when you log on to the catalogue and book our computers. Please select a PIN you will remember.
Under 18?
If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your membership form signed by an adult who agrees to take responsibility for your usage of library materials and equipment.
Become a member online
You can sign up for a library membership online.
You will be given a temporary card number. Before you can use our services, you will need to bring this temporary number into our branch with current identification and proof of address.
You will receive your permanent library card immediately and will have full access to all our services.
Using our library services:
- You must bring your library card each time you borrow material or use our public computers or Wireless wi-fi internet services.
- You are responsible for any materials borrowed on your card and for ensuring that they are returned on time.
- Library cards can expire so please contact your nearest branch if you are having difficulty logging on our catalogue.
