Our neighbourhood centres offer a variety of recreational and educational activities for older adults and people with disabilities.

Hiring a neighbourhood centre

All centres are available for hire on a casual or regular basis.

General terms and conditions

The curfew for neighbourhood centres is 6.00pm for casual hirers. Neighbourhood centres are not for hire for 18th, 21st birthdays or teenage functions. Security bonds, public liability fees and casual rates will apply.

Ascot Vale Neighbourhood Centre

  • Main hall seating for up to 150 people
  • Dining room seating for up to 60 people
  • Kitchen facilities (with hot water urn, industrial stove, industrial dishwasher and fridge)
  • Stage area

Burley Griffin Community Centre

Features:

  • Main hall seating for up to 60 people
  • Main kitchen (with hot water urn, kitchen stove, dishwasher and fridge)
  • Wheelchair access

Some specific restrictions apply to the Burley Griffin Neighbourhood Centre:

  • No alcohol
  • No amplified music

Kellaway Avenue Neighbourhood Centre

Nancye Kirchner Neighbourhood Centre
