Aged care

Volunteers support seniors and their carers with a range of services including Community Meals, Community Transport, exercise and social programs such as the Men’s Shed.

Environmental conservation

Volunteers are involved in environmental activities. See the calendar of events and activities.

Promoting options for healthy and sustainable living

Volunteers promote active transport and healthy lifestyles through the Walking Schools Bus.

Access and disability support

Volunteers support people living with disabilities with a range of services including Community Meals, Community Transport, and the Mobile Library Service.

Social, creative and leisure services

Volunteers inspire and support creativity, fun and friendship by running hobby and special interest sessions at community centres and select libraries.

Migrant support

Volunteers support local residents who have recently arrived in Australia. Services include supported driving practice for adult learner drivers; and free tuition to support school students and their families.

Library services

Volunteers share the pleasure of reading with people living with reduced mobility, through the home delivery of books, and by reading aloud to residents in nursing homes.
