Bin collection schedule

Your general bin is emptied every week.
Your recycle bin is emptied once a fortnight.
Your garden bin is emptied once a fortnight on an alternate week to your recycle bin.

2012 community waste and recycling calendar

Residents should have received their 2012 community waste and recycling calendar in December 2011. The calendar includes dates and details for your annual hard waste collection and twice-yearly branch and prunings collections.

Please keep your calendar as an all-year reference. If you have not yet received your calendar, please contact us on 9243 8888.

Does your recycling bin fill up too fast?

You can upsize your recycling bin to new 360L for a one off-fee of $50. The new bins are a third bigger than the current 240L yellow-lidded bins. The Australian-made recycling bins have a bigger handle and larger wheels so they are still easy to move.
