For planning permit applications to subdivide land with information on applying for a Certification of a Plan of Subdivision.
We require certain information in order to properly assess your application against the planning controls contained in the Moonee Valley Planning Scheme.
To ensure that your application can be processed quickly and efficiently, it is important that all the relevant information is included - this Subdivision guide (pdf, 546kb) will help you do this.
How to apply for a planning permit
To apply for a permit to subdivide follow these five steps:
Step 1 -
complete an application for planning permit form (pdf, 295kb)
Step 2 - complete a Surveyor’s Form 1 (if applying for Certification) – one (1) copy
To obtain a copy, you may need to contact a Licensed Land Surveyor, who will prepare all documentation on your behalf.
Step 3 -
refer to the fee schedule
If you are applying for Certification, please add the appropriate fee on top of your application fee.
Note: The fee can only be paid by cheque or money order and must be payable to ‘the City of Moonee Valley’.
Step 4 - prepare your application
Make sure you include all the information described in this guide, such as plans and a written submission.
