A plan for play at AJ Davis Reserve

AJ-Davis-Playspace-Design-play-elements-landscape
A space for children to swing, slide, climb and explore has been planned for AJ Davis Reserve in Airport West.
The draft playspace design includes swings, slides, a ropes course, small climbing wall, a basketball key, a dry creek bed and rocks and logs for children to go scrambling.
It also includes a small shelter, picnic tables and park seats, new native trees and garden beds, and new paths designed to be accessible for people with disability and rubber surfacing for access to key play elements.
The proposed new playspace is an action of the AJ Davis Reserve Master Plan 2017. The implementation of this playspace is subject to final design and Council’s budgetary processes.
We are encouraging everyone to view the draft design and give us feedback by visiting yoursay.mvcc.vic.gov.au/ajdavisplayspace by Sunday, 5 July.
