A pop-up blood donation centre is coming to the Clocktower!

Blood donation in Moonee Ponds Clocktower

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is coming to Moonee Valley with a pop-up donor centre at the Clocktower Centre in Moonee Ponds from 24 to 28 January, allowing locals to roll up their sleeves and donate blood.

Across the week Lifeblood hopes to see around 100 locals through the pop-up helping to save lives. One in three Australians will need blood or a blood product in their lifetime, but only one in 30 currently donates. Donated blood goes to support cancer patients, those involved in road accidents along with pregnant women, newborn babies and countless others.

To welcome Lifeblood to Moonee Ponds, the Clocktower will be lighting up in red for the duration of the visit!

The Moonee Ponds pop-up donor centre will be located at Clocktower Centre, 750 Mount Alexander Road and will be open:

  • Monday 24 January: 12:30pm to 7:30pm
  • Tuesday 25 January: 12pm to 7:30pm
  • Wednesday 26 January: 8am to 3:30pm
  • Thursday 27 January: 12pm to 7:30pm
  • Friday 28 January: 8am to 3pm

In line with Victorian Government guidelines, Clocktower patrons are required to wear a mask, check-in upon arrival and maintain 1.5 metre social distancing where possible.

You can book a donation online or call 13 14 95 or download the free donate blood app.

Lifeblood will return to Moonee Ponds on 30 May to 3 June, and 26 to 30 September.
