The sun is out.
Christmas is around the corner.
Now is the time to eat, drink and be merry in one of Moonee Valley’s newest outdoor dining spots.
Council’s built free ‘parklets’ across our City, extended the footpath dining and even closed a laneway as part of our wider COVID-19 Recovery program.
The aim – to help everyone get back to our local shops in a COVID safe way and enjoy our wonderful City over summer.
Here’s a few alfresco spots you can check out now.
My Little Bento, 12 Margaret St, Moonee Ponds
The closure of Hallkeeper Lane at the junction of Margaret Street in Moonee Ponds means more green space for everyone during the day and a new dining area by night.
With grass, trees and bench seating now in place this is the latest place to try out a new dining experience hosted by the businesses Gourmet Kitchen and My Little Bento.
Hallkeeper Lane will be closed to traffic until 1 June 2021 and will operate as a new green space which is open and available to all members of the community.
