A Niddrie resident is spearheading a campaign to deliver meals to hospital workers on the frontline in the battle against the coronavirus.
Natasha Oommen founded Frontline Meals to show gratitude to frontline workers for the sacrifice they and their families are making.
She’s launched ‘Operation Thank You’ – teaming up with hospitality businesses to prepare and deliver meals to the Fever, Respiratory and Emergency departments at the Northern Hospital in Epping.
The group are working to expand their offering to other frontline services, but they need your help.
They’re calling for donations to be able to purchase the meals which in turn supports hospitality businesses during these hard-hitting times.
Visit frontlinemealsmelb.org to donate, or if you’re a hospitality business interested in being involved you can also sign up on their website.
This is another example of members of our community rallying together and making good things happen for our broader community during the coronavirus crisis.
