We place a high priority on ensuring that the community is provided with a safe and efficient road network for use by everyone.
The Road Management Plan establishes how we look after this road infrastructure.
The draft Road Management Plan 2021-2025 is now available for review. The plan is reviewed every four years.
The Road Management Plan (RMP) sets out Council’s road management functions. It makes clear the level of service provided in maintaining the road infrastructure we manage.
The RMP commits us to an inspection and maintenance program, which is supported by an appropriate budget. It states how we will maintain defects and repairs on roadways, kerb and channel, pathways, constructed right of ways and other assets within a public road where we are the responsible road authority.
The draft RMP 2021-2025 is available for public consultation from 9am 4 February until 5pm 4 March 2021.
