Round 4 of the COVID-19 Recovery Grants

Round 4 of the 2020/21 COVID-19 Recovery Grants are open, closing 5pm on Thursday, 29 April 2021.

These grants can provide funding for local business, community groups and artists to undertake projects to help adapt to the challenges faced by the pandemic and to reconnect as a community as we move towards a ‘COVID-normal’.

Find out more, including guidelines and how to apply on our grants page.

Not sure where to start? Register for our free online grants writing workshop on Monday, 19 April at 1pm here.

Help shape the grants program in 2021/22

Since April 2020 we’ve turned our focus towards supporting the emerging needs of the community during the pandemic. We’ve adapted the grants program to provide grants for business, community and artists to adapt, collaborate and reconnect as the community recovers.

We are now planning for the next financial year 2021/22, and we want to hear from you about what kind of funding opportunities Council should be offering.

We’d like to know if we should continue providing funding that targets the impacts of the pandemic, or if we should reinstate our original grants program. Or is there a third way? Can we incorporate some of the emerging needs into the original program?

We are currently seeking feedback through our online survey, which closes at midnight on Sunday, 2 May 2021.

Following the conclusion of the survey, we will be hosting two online community workshops to take a look at the results of the survey and dive deeper into your funding priorities for the next 12 months. Please register to attend one of the following online community workshops:

  • Thursday, 6 May 2021 from 10am – 11:30am
  • Tuesday, 11 May 2021 from 6pm – 7:30pm
