The show must go on!

Hipster

A month-long virtual film and podcast festival will showcase the creativity and skills of some of Moonee Valley’s budding creators and entertainers.

With coronavirus putting physical events on hold at the moment, our Youth Team had to think outside the box to launch podcasts and short films created by our young people.

But as they say, the show must go on, and the ‘Look ‘n’ Listen Party’ was born.

During Look ‘n’ Listen Party: Part One from Monday, 30 March to Friday, 10 April a new film will be uploaded daily at 3pm to the Valley Youth website. There’ll also be a Watch Party on 6th April on facebook, so grab your popcorn and pretend you’re at the cinema from the comfort of your own couch.

Look ‘n’ Listen Party: Part Two premieres episodes from ‘The Traveling Podcast’. The youth podcasting studio was created by members of Valley Youth’s Young Peoples’ Committee, who set up the mic in our City’s libraries and community spaces and asked their peers to speak about ‘Happiness’.

A new podcast episode will be uploaded to iTunes, Spotify and Valley Youth’s facebook page and website each weekday from Tuesday, 14 April to Tuesday, 28 April.

Take a look, have a listen, and enjoy.
