Passionate about Moonee Valley?

Eager to be a voice for your community?

Or maybe you’ve just always wanted to be a councillor.

Now’s your shot.

Council elections are happening in October and if you’re over the age of 18 and live or own property in Moonee Valley you may be able to run for election.

In partnership with the Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA) we’re holding Candidate Information Sessions in March.

The sessions are free and will provide plenty of information about the role of Council and councillors as well as outline key dates that’ll impact your campaign.

The details:

Wednesday, 4 March 2020, 9am – 12 noon
Thursday, 5 March 2020, 6pm – 9pm
Both sessions will take place at Council’s Civic Centre, 9 Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds.

There’s no need to register, just turn up at your preferred session.

There’s more information on the VLGA website: https://www.vlga.org.au/events-training/candidate-information-and-training-sessions-2020
