Clocktower Centre’s theatre season rounds out with a string of captivating performances

Clocktower Centre has an array of award-winning performances set to hit the stage this spring, bookmarking an incredible 2026 theatre season; Yellow Brick Theatre’s one-man show DUST, Temple of Desire by Australia’s most critically acclaimed Indian dance company, plus Vincent Hooper’s Morning Music ode to four legendary divas in Judy, Liza, Barbra, Bette, There Are Names I Shan’t Forget.

Fresh from a hugely successful debut run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026 – winning both The List Award and Pick of the Fringe Award – DUST is one man’s unforgettable journey, examining generational trauma, resilience, and survival against the backdrop of post-World War II England. Presented by Yellow Brick Theatre and directed by Charlaina Thompson.

Fresh from a sell-out, award-winning season in Melbourne and Toronto, this bold new work features dancers trained in the classical Indian form of Bharatanatyam. Subversive, sumptuous, and unapologetically queer, Temple of Desire explores themes through the medium of dance that is both defiant and evocative. Temple of Desire was the Winner of the Melbourne Fringe Director’s Choice Award and nominated for Outstanding Choreography at the Green Room awards. After the performance, the temple transforms for the after party, a mix of pop, Carnatic, Bollywood and deconstructed club. Audience members will be invited to join performers for one final celebration of our histories, futures, dreams and desires: a collective liberation.

An homage to Four Legendary Divas! Melbourne-based artist Vincent Hooper delivers a glamorous and witty tribute to the women who defined ‘diva-dom’: Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Barbra Streisand, and Bette Midler. Featuring iconic songs and hidden gems from each, intertwined with stories about their lives, their influence on the queer community and Vincent’s own journey. It’s heartfelt, hilarious, and full of sparkle.
