Artist-in-Residence @ Woodlands Park Garage Studio
Moonee Valley City Council is making the Woodlands Park Garage Studio available to artists interested in a residency to explore or further their practice. Early career or established artists will soon be invited to express their interest in an Artist in Residence for 2026/27.
This opportunity is for residencies of 8-12 weeks, though longer or shorter residency periods will be considered. The space is suitable for a variety of artist mediums, including painters, sculptures, potters, writers, illustrators, designers, composers, puppet-makers and more and a stipend of $3000 will be provided to assist the artist in the development of their chosen work.
Please email ignitingcreativity@mvcc.vic.gov.au for further information or if you are interested in visiting the studio.
This initiative is part of the Arts & Culture Strategy, Igniting Creativity in Moonee Valley 23-27.
Igniting Creativity in Moonee Valley 23-27
Creativity to ignite city’s culturally-led prosperity. More live music, a booming night-time economy and making Moonee Valley a preferred place for artists to work and live are just some of the key ambitions of Moonee Valley Council’s visionary four-year arts and culture masterplan.
