I'm a pop singer-songwriter currently based in the Moonee Valley. My music blends lush vocal arrangements with a post-disco funk style. In my music, I speak universal truths from my unique perspective, discussing topics such as family values, celebrating queer love, and navigating the world as a queer person of colour.
I was always surrounded by music as a young kid. I began performing in music theatre throughout my school years. But as my passion for music grew, I wanted to find my own identity, rather than hiding behind the characters I was playing.
A musician friend of mine quoted me a sentiment that has stuck with me for a while now, and has helped me reduce the decision fatigue I face in my daily life; "Choose your hard. Life will always be full of challenging decisions, but we have the power to choose which challenges shape us. Pursue the difficult path with intentionality".
My proudest achievement in my career so far is finally releasing my very first single "In Any Universe" in 2023. I'll always remember how special it felt to clearly mark the beginning of my journey as an artist.
In 2025, I was mentored by industry professionals and the Moonee Valley Youth Council in an artist development program called the Valley Youth Studios, and I performed as a finalist in Moonee Valley's Battle of the Bands. This year, I also had the incredible privilege of performing at Moonee Valley's Annual Twilight Festival where I opened for Aussie legends Eskimo Joe!

I am a cross-disciplinary artist working in visual arts and in creative writing. In recent years, I have developed a deepening interest in socio-political issues. In the area of creative writing, my work often explores the human condition, especially the experiences of women in society.
I have always been interested in art but only recently has this branched out into writing. I began writing short stories stimulated by our country property. Over the years I wrote poems, lyrics and more varied short stories. When I retired from my psychology practice, I was concerned that my area of interest in Women's Health was still treated poorly and women were not getting the information they needed. So, I wrote a stage play about it! This was soon followed by another play.
The best piece of advice I can remember hearing is: “…each problem or mistake is a moment of great potential”. These words gave me a different perspective on the work of making art. It also lightened the self-imposed weight of need perfection.
I have 2 proud achievements: The first time I sold a piece of artwork, and the first time I heard my words being acted in front of a receptive audience. Both produced the same level of excitement, and both took a while to internalise. Now I truly feel “I did those things”.
Moonee Valley Council provided me with a small grant some years ago which helped me finish a collection of paintings which focused on the effects of war. This year, Council awarded me a 2-week residency which allowed me to develop and rehearse my second play, which was performed in March and received a 4-star review!

Both my tattooing and mural artwork leans heavily on my ongoing understanding of my culture and the many indigenous nations that make up our country. My mural work always tries to say something about the space it takes up and the community that views it.
Outreach graffiti workshops helped me learn about what my work could be and look like, before finding my own place and style.
The best piece of advice I ever received was “Learn the rules so when you break them, you do it well.”
My proudest achievement so far is being the first person in Australia to organise legally painting coal trains.
Moonee Valley City Council funded murals and workshops have all helped with exposure and getting my work out to a broader audience. I’ve also been able to teach young people about how to get started with street art.

My artistic practice takes many forms, in performance, writing and singing education, but each has a key theme: hope. In everything I do, I try to imbue it with the lived experience, vulnerability, humour and kindness that I believe will bring the most joy and belief to the person or persons I share my art with.
I was one of those very normal children that decided to be an opera singer at age 3. My father and Nonna both played classical records frequently, instilling a love and an understanding of this music. With my mother, Grazia Marin, also being a prolific artist, my art appreciation was fostered from all angles, which evolved into hearty support when I decided to pursue singing professionally.
My incredible singing teacher, Janet, had two pieces of advice that still resonate: 'one's self-talk should support one's desired reality'; and 'you've got through much worse than a bad audition'!
My one-woman show, Pursuing Pleasure. It turned my traumas into a vessel for instilling hope in others, and is the epitome of my artistic goals in practice. That means more to me than any awards or five star reviews!
As an emerging artist, MVCC provided me with grants to support me to receive education, such as a trip to Italy in 2016 to attend a summer school with world-renowned operatic teachers. During and after the COVID lockdowns, MVCC provided me with opportunities to perform in both the Clocktower Theatre and Cafe space - including using that beautiful, historical grand piano! - assisting to relaunch my career after such a difficult time.

My practice works across photography, moving image, and publication, with a consistent interest in the natural world and what it can reveal about human experience. I'm drawn to places and species that carry complicated histories, whether colonial, geological, or climatic. Working ecologically provides me with an entry point into broader questions about loss, belonging, and the histories we inherit.
When I was quite fresh to the city, I began working at a community-led initiative called Fox Darkroom & Gallery. The people I met there were hugely inspiring to me, and gave me the support and confidence to seriously pursue a career in the arts.
I was told a lot early on that most opportunities will come from within my network. Showing up for people and being a supportive member of your community is always reciprocated.
I’ve had a lot of proud moments the last few years, but recently completing my Masters was a big deal for me. I was never particularly confident academically when I was younger, so successfully navigating a postgraduate degree felt really significant.
Having lived in the Moonee Valley area for the better part of a decade, the arts program at Incinerator Gallery has gone from something I attended as an audience member to something I'm now a part of. I first showed work there through the art award, and to now be invited to exhibit the largest solo show of my career feels like a real marker of that journey, and a testament to what programs like this make possible.

With a B. Musical Theatre and a trained aerialist and stilt walker, I started my own production company, Little Pine Tree Productions, which produces and tours high quality productions that enriches the community and spark vibrancy in local, regional and interstate areas. With an array of world class productions as well as multiple music packages to suit anyone's entertainment needs, LPT fosters and creates memories through artistic experience.
There was simply never a time when I didn't have the stage calling. I have always had the love and support of my family to encourage me to explore freedom of expression. I was part of the Australian Girls Choir and had remarkable experiences and opportunities including working with Hugh Jackman.
Never close any door or allow an opportunity to pass you by even if it doesn't fit perfectly into how you imagined your craft evolving.
Creating my own production company - Little Pine Tree Productions has been the most challenging and fulfilling achievement. I have been able to write and produce my own productions, and have showcased my work in some of Australia's finest theatres.
Moonee Valley City Council has been a welcome support. Through the Biannual Grants in 2024/2025 I was able to run my community event program. This led to the establishment of my local talent and resulted in the incredible opportunity to be a part of the Morning Music program in 2026 the at the Clocktower Centre.
