Don’t paws! Register your pet

Any day is the purr-fect time to register cats or dogs aged over three months and keep them safe. Because if your furry friend ever goes walkies, registered pets can be more easily identified and reunited with their family.  

Registering your pet with Moonee Valley City Council is a simple act, which will be made event simpler through the free pet app, Dingla. 

Council is partnering with Dingla App, who are a locally based business, to provide bonus offers and all-in-one digital wallet for pet records – medical information, microchip details and registration documentation. 

Thanks to the trial of the app over the next year, registered pet owners can receive an introductory, one-off gift as well as access special offers and discounts from participating businesses such as veterinary clinics, dog groomers and pet retail providers.  

It costs $31 to register a dog in the City of Moonee Valley and $20 for a cat when registering for the first time, with no charge for pension card holders (proof of concession card must be provided).
