Exploring art, touch, song and movement
Everyone’s favourite resilient little spider, Incy Wincey, was the subject of artistic exploration at Incinerator Gallery last week.
A group of creative young participants and their carers interpreted the spider’s endeavours up the spout by making colourful, textural mobiles.
Guided by Barking Spider’s creative educator, Laura, the children were led on an imaginative journey.
It included a treasure hunt inside the room, exploring different textures, before starting on their bright, colourful artworks. Materials used were leaves, feathers, bubble wrap, shells and more.
Arty Tales (for ages 3-5) and Incy Wincy Babies (for ages 0-24 months) are designed to inspire creativity in little ones through art, touch, song and movement.
Fostering confidence in both children and their caregivers to enjoy art together, creating lasting memories.
