Medieval Fantasy Fest: Go back in time for some good old-fashioned fun this Youth Month

MFF

Hear ye, hear ye! Moonee Valley City Council hereby invites all citizens to take part in our first-ever Medieval Fantasy Fest

Your quest, if you choose to accept it: On the twenty-first day of the month of September, don your best cape or favourite frock, and gallop down to Canterbury Street Stables for an afternoon of cosplay fun.

Renaissance fairs are having a… well, renaissance – and  Valley Youth is getting in on the act by turning back the clock this Youth Month.

Enjoy roving entertainers, workshops, a youth art market, LARP and Dungeons and Dragons.

Medieval Fantasy Fest is a free, all-ages event. Food and drinks will be available to purchase.

Moonee Valley City Council Mayor, Cr Ava Adams, said Youth Month was a great opportunity to celebrate young people in our community.

“As Mayor, I have the privilege of meeting many of our young people and their enthusiasm and curiosity never ceases to inspire me,” she said.

“I am proud of the Council services and programs that help young people connect with their community.

“I can’t wait to see the many wonderful ways young people express themselves this Youth Month.”
