
Moonee Valley Festival 2025
The largest event on our festival calendar is back bigger and better than ever! Get ready to celebrate summer and dance the day (and night!) away. We’ve got an incredible line up of music, market stalls, delicious food, live performances, workshops, installations, and so much more! Catch break-out artist Budjerah, dip into modern-day brass with Hot Potato Band, disco your way to the dance floor with Sugar Fed Leopards, and be swept away by pop-princess and Australian Idol alum IVANA.

What you need to know
Parking around Queens Park is limited. We encourage you to walk or take public transport where possible.
Train: Moonee Ponds Train Station is a 7-minute walk to Queens Park.
Tram: The nearest tram stop is Stop 32 (Kellaway Avenue/Mt Alexander Rd) on tram routes 59 and 82.
Bus: Routes 404, 469, 472, 476, 477, 483, 504, 505, 506 all stop near Queens Park.
Accessible parking: There is limited accessible parking nearby. There will be an accessible drop off zone on Mt Alexander Rd.
Moonee Valley Festival will start at 10am and finish by 10pm. Refer to the set times on this page.
Moonee Valley Festival is a free, all ages event.
Everyone is welcome at the Moonee Valley Festival. This is an all ages, family-friendly event.
There is limited accessible parking nearby. An accessible drop off zone will be available at the Civic Centre carpark (Kellaway Avenue).
Auslan interpreters will also be in attendance.
There will be paths in the park for wheelchair users and a viewing platform on the Main Stage.

This event is for the whole family to enjoy and dogs are welcome, however please be aware that there will be music, lighting and crowds. If you do bring your dog, they need to remain on a lead at all times. Please also remember to clean up after them and ensure they have food and water.
Pets attending the Pet Pageant must be under control of their owners at all times, and safely restrained on a lead or in an appropriate carrier, etc.
If you have event queries on the day, visit the Information Tent close to the Cenotaph adjacent to Kellaway Ave.
Food and drink options are available at the event. See the food vendor list on this page and refer to the map for specific location.
There will be one First Aid Tent located next door to the Information Tent on the corner of Mt Alexander Road and Kellaway Ave.
A Lost Children Point will be set up at the Information Tents and in the Kids Area. If you lose your child, please speak with event staff at the Information Tents or walking around the event. Staff will be identifiable in EVENT STAFF Black T-shirts, and/or high-vis vests.
There will be no ATMs available at the Moonee Valley Festival. The majority of vendors will have methods of cashless payment available, however we recommend bringing cash for food and drink purchases just in case.
All lost property will be taken to the Information Tent located near Kellaway Ave.
Toilets can be found in the Kids Area and along Pascoe Vale Rd near the Queens Park Swimming Pool. All toilets are marked on the festival map. Each toilet area has an accessible toilet.
A baby feeding area and baby change station can be found in the Kids Area.
Free water stations are located at the entry behind the Cenotaph, before the food stalls and the Kids Area.
Free sunscreen is available at the Information Tents and in the Kids Area.
We encourage responsible drinking in non-breakable cups. There will be one licenced area serving alcohol on site.
