Flemington Community Centre

This centre has been relaced with the Flemington Pop-up while the new Flemington Hub is under construction

Flemington Pop-up is open!

A temporary Flemington Pop-up facility is open at Debneys Park, where our Welcoming Neighbourhoods team (from the Flemington Community Centre) work on-site.

Here they hold a reduced number of priority programs and services on-site. They can provide information and referral, as well as offer employment support through JVES and Job Advocate. Community members can visit the Pop-up to ask questions, receive information or get recommendations to other local services and activities.

The Pop-up is open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. It’s located onsite behind where the old centre was in Debneys Park, just look for the signs!

Flemington Community Centre is closed

Flemington Community Centre was a much-loved facility which served our community for over 60 years. It is being replaced with the new Flemington Hub with is under construction and will be completed by 2023.

You can learn more about the project at the Flemington Hub project page.

Volunteers make a difference to our community through roles in the following programs:

  • Transurban DriveLink: providing newly arrived migrants and refugees with driving practice to build confidence for their driving test.
  • Creativity and Learning: facilitating arts, crafts and other rewarding and enjoyable activities.

From time to time, new volunteers are needed. When available, volunteering opportunities are advertised on our website. Visit our Volunteering page to see full information and to register your interest.

If you prefer, call and ask one of our friendly staff to send you information on any roles available.
