Our community facilities are the perfect spaces for family and children’s parties, and community groups, activities and gatherings. Available to hire every day except for a shutdown period over Christmas, we offer spaces for casual hire as well as regular hire (a minimum of 6 bookings per year).

When not being used for organised sport, our grounds and pavilions may be available for community hire. This includes the Moonee Valley Athletics Centre, East Keilor Synthetic Pitch and the Essendon Hockey Pitch.

Farnham Street Neighbourhood Learning Centre caters for a range of groups and residents of Moonee Valley: the elderly, people from a non-English speaking background, the unemployed, sole parents, the youth, the socially-isolated. The centre programs offer a variety of educational and recreational classes.

Wingate Avenue Community Centre

Wingate Avenue Community Centre is a not for profit community centre providing learning, recreation, support and information for our local community. The centre encourages and assists people to develop responses to issues that affect them and their community.
