Amutha is an artist who dwells in the liminal space, navigating the delicate balance between fear and courage, hope and loss, life and death. She embraces the profound polarity of these contrasting experiences, channeling their energy into her work through pure resonance. Her unwavering commitment to vulnerability and the pursuit of liberating moments shapes her music in a way that feels both timeless and ethereal. On a continuous journey of self-discovery and transformation. Amutha embodies the artist’s role with a depth as natural and undeniable as the passing of time. With influences ranging from garage, afro, hip hop, and R&B, she weaves a rich tapestry of sound to convey a singular truth: the sacred gift of being alive.

Event Details
Ella Hooper burst onto the Australian music scene as the technicolour front woman of Killing Heidi, an unlikely success story – the teenage band from the bush who went on to explode the naughties, claiming pop rock dominion over the turn of the millennium with a string of hit singles, no.1 album, sold out tours, Rolling Stone covers and more. Ella was the first ever woman and youngest person to be awarded APRA’s Songwriter of the Year Award.
Now three albums deep into a celebrated solo career spanning synth folk, rock, country and Americana, Ella also balances a successful sidehustle hosting multiple TV and radio shows, including the hit music trivia shows Spicks And Specks, RockWiz and most recently music/disability docuseries, HEADLiNERS for ABC TV, making her more than just a pop singer in her native Aus.
Ella’s most recent album Small Town Temple explores her love of country / Americana. Written in her tiny hometown of Violet Town in a period where, tragically, she lost both her beloved parents to cancer within two weeks of each other, Small Town Temple has been praised for its heart, authenticty and unique ‘Australiana’ perspective. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Australian Country chart and was nominated for the prestigious Australian Music Prize. Firmly in her country era and carrying enough highs and lows to really do the genre justice, Ella is now collaborating on a new record with Grammy Award winning Nashville stalwarts like Jim Lauderdale, Steve Poltz, Melody Walker (Sierra Ferrell) and LOLLIES aka Clare Reynolds (Rachel Baiman, Timbaland) Hooper is currently splitting her time between Nashville and Melbourne, servicing the summer festival crowds in Australia, and writing the next set of heart opening, toe tapping hits in Nashville.
Ella Hooper is both a well seasoned artist and a dedicated purponent of ‘beginners mind’, courting her biggest growth spurt yet.

Billy Cart is unstuck in time. The Naarm five-piece tunnel through decades of underground music and emerge with something both familiar and entirely their own. Their sound carries the urgency of DIY punk, the jagged edges of post-punk, and the loose, instinctual energy of a band that refuses to overthink itself. Billy Raffin, Dale Mamo, Gianni Daniele Castro, Jamie Kemp, and Xanthea O’Connor write songs like overheard conversations from parallel universes—disjointed yet intentional, full of dry humor and restless momentum. Their music isn’t clean, nor is it meant to be. It’s a collage of frayed melodies and intersecting ideas, stitched together with raw nerve and instinct.

Event Details
Local the Neighbour is the creative project of David Quested. After moving to Melbourne to study jazz at the Victorian College of the Arts, he became obsessed with the form of expression found in the art form. From there David went on to study at the University of California Los Angeles, learning from jazz giants such as Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts and John Riley. Since then he has gone on to perform with ARIA winning jazz musicians, and tour internationally. After an early quarter life crisis, David made a ‘jexit’ (jazz exit), realising he wanted to return back to his roots of playing rock music like his favourite childhood bands. From there he began playing with likeminded artists, and going on to join the indie-rock band Garage Sale as their drummer. Armed with these experiences and approaches, Local the Neighbour was born in order to explore the world of production and songwriting; the ultimate outlet for David to live out his artistic creative endeavours. With DIY at its core, the music is always self recorded with the help of close friends within his community.
Local the Neighbour takes influence from artists like Alex G, MJ Lenderman, Hovvdy, and Slow Pulp.

Trasch walks among the living to thrash once more at his wizened guitar. Drum machines call and crash their terrible intent on a distant, trash strewn beach.
Once a music graduate; twice an award winning combo collaborator; three times an escapee from a nuclear waste isle, he is less a virtuosic musician, more a virtuosic anti musician. The resultant din is both ancient and new: accessible sweet guitar twang sang through 13 dimensions of distortion.
He is back to feed. Who can say, if he may bemuse boomers and mystify millennials?
This is not to explain, so much as unveil.
Guitar? Check. Machine drums? Check. Vocals? Potentially. History? Yes.

The VoidDecks is a makeshift ramshackle 3 piece garage rock project formed in 2024. The combo is a loose collective made up of flower punks from bands such as Slowjaxx & The Kozmik Brothers, Vault Hill, The Kreteks, Kelab Dingdong Sayang, Jawa Pitu Band, Moods, Force Vomit and Toko Kilat. Their music is influenced by 60’s and 70’s South East Asian acts like The Swallows, DuoKribo, Benyamin Sueb, Alias Congo and Black Dog Bone. Occasionally they dabble in space rock, and bastardised keronchong blues via Gesang Martohartono, Oslan Hussein, Spectrum and Spacemen 3. A void deck is also an open space found on the ground floor of HDB blocks of flats in Singapore. It is used for community or neighbourhood gang activities such as playing soccer, rounders, Chinese chess, breakdancing, gang brawls, trading cassettes, VHS tapes and impromptu jam sessions with like minded souls. The VoidDecks are working on releasing an EP by mid summer of 2025. The band can be contacted via IG @thevoiddecks for bookings or gig updates.
