Driving range goes next level

In tee-rific news for local golfers, the upper level of the driving range at the Riverside Golf and Sports Centre has been re-opened to the community. 

The driving range structure, which was originally designed and constructed in the 1980s, has undergone a substantial upgrade to improve usability for the community.  

The upper level now includes newly installed safety netting and barriers as well as trackman ball tracking technology, bay dividers and matting.  

Both serious golfers and casual users are invited to come along and enjoy the upper deck of the golf range. 

The Riverside and Golf Sports Centre is renowned as a picturesque environment and hub of activity, made even better thanks to the reopening of the top deck and last year’s opening of the netball club rooms. 

The driving range is popular among those who don’t have time to play a full 9-holes or want a more casual and social experience.  

Riverside Golf and Sports Centre is located at Newsom Street, Ascot Vale.
