Funding boost for local park upgrades
Three Moonee Valley parks are set for exciting improvements after being successfully selected for funding through the Victorian Government’s Pick My Park program.
Thanks to strong community support during the public voting phase, the following parks will receive upgrades:
- Hallkeeper Lane, Moonee Ponds will receive $110,000 for upgraded seating, landscaping and artwork.
- Fairbairn Park, Ascot Vale will receive $250,000 for an improved playspace, landscaping and a multipurpose hard-court area.
- Overland Reserve, Keilor East will receive $250,000 for an upgraded playspace, picnic facilities, landscaping and a multipurpose hard-court area.
These improvements will enhance our popular local spaces, making them more welcoming, accessible and enjoyable for people of all ages.
