The Lab Program
An innovative respite program for carers of young Autistic people aged 10-25 years old.
Local Activities for Carers
- Ascot Vale Leisure Centre hosts a fortnightly early morning walking group:
Wednesdays at 7am, every second week (approximately 1 hour).

Mondays at 9.30am (approximately 1 hour). Meet outside the gym door. - Active Pathways

Respite programs
Moonee Valley City Council has several in-home and community-based respite programs available that can help you take a little break.

- Commonwealth Home Support Package (CHSP)
- Home Care Packages for Seniors

Local Activities for Carers
Keilor East Leisure Centre hosts a weekly walking group:
Mondays at 9.30am (approx. 1 hour).

Carers Victoria are now in Moonee Valley - once a week!
Visit us at Wingate Community Centre! A representative from Carers Victoria is at the Wingate Community Centre every Monday 9.00am - 3.00pm.
Supports provided include:
- development of caring role skills
- identification of carer services and information
- enhancement of carer health and wellbeing
- educational Workshops
- counselling focused on the impact of the caring role.

Digital skills group for Greek speaking Carers

Art Mondo: Art and Dementia
A program for individuals in the early stages of dementia or other cognitive impairment with their support person, being a professional caregiver, adult-child or partner.
