Pick My Park voting now open

Hallkeeper Lane parklet in Moonee Ponds.

Three Moonee Valley park projects have reached the public voting stage of the Victorian Government’s Pick My Park program.

This program is investing $30 million to improve access to quality parks and open spaces in growing communities.

Our projects focus on upgrading existing spaces to better support how our community lives, plays and connects.

The projects include:

  • Fairbairn Park, Ascot Vale – a new play space, landscaping and a multipurpose hard-court area.
  • Overland Reserve, Keilor East – a new play space, picnic facilities, landscaping and a multipurpose hard-court area.
  • Hallkeeper Lane, Moonee Ponds – upgraded seating, landscaping and artwork to support regular use.

Now’s the time for the community to get behind these projects.

Voting is open to people aged 16 and over until Monday, 3 August 2026. Every vote helps show strong local support and strengthens each project’s case for State Government funding.

We’re encouraging residents and visitors to vote and share the opportunity with others to help build momentum across the community.

While reaching this stage is a great result, it does not guarantee funding, as final decisions sit with the State Government.

You can learn more about each project and cast your vote via the Engage Victoria website.
