Celebrating the memory of the late Ms Nancy Taylor and her impact on our local community.

At the Council meeting on 11 October 2022, Council resolved to recognise the late Nancy Taylor for her profound commitment to Moonee Valley. Nancy is celebrated in the municipality for her leadership and advocacy work. She is particularly recognised for rallying for the Queens Park Swimming Pool to remain open in the early 1990’s. She was a respected member of our community and she was awarded in 2002 as Moonee Valley Senior Citizen of the Year and Outstanding Contributor in Neighbour Wellbeing.

In Nancy’s memory, a plaque was installed to pay homage to her community impact.
