Teach a young person or newly-arrived migrant how to drive
Published on Thursday, 21 July 2022

Learning to drive is a rite of passage, but, if you don’t have access to a car or know someone who can teach to you, it’s almost impossible to move to ‘P’ plates.
We have two driving programs that get learner drivers on the road. The TAC L2P program for young people and, Transurban’s DriveLink that assists local migrants and refugees to pass their driving test.
We’re looking for mentors for both programs!
As a mentor you can make a huge impact on a someone’s life by helping them to get their probationary licence. You only have to give up an hour of your time a week plus training and a car to practice in is provided.
The TAC L2P Program is funded by the TAC, administered by the Department of Transport, and delivered by almost 60 local councils and not-for-profit community agencies across Victoria.
