Bunjil’s Marroun Healing Ceremony 2024

Our annual Bunjil’s Marroun Healing Ceremony will be held at Djerring Flemington Hub on Friday, 26 January 2024.
The ceremony will commence at 4pm and will include an Acknowledgment of History by Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Elder Aunty Dianne Kerr, guest speaker Uncle Charles Pakana, a performance by the Nhanbu Togip dance group and other special guests.
We are committed to truth telling through Reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and acknowledge that this day can cause pain to members of our community.
The event is a chance for our community to learn about and experience what the day means to our Traditional Custodians and to acknowledge the past injustices to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
