Annually we hold the Bunjil’s Marroun Healing Ceremony and invite community members to learn about and experience what the day means to our Traditional Owners.
Moonee Valley is proud of its diverse community and acknowledges the contributions that all people make to this vibrant and inclusive municipality.
Nhanbu Togip will perform traditional dance and David Arden and his band will also play.
This year the ceremony will be held at Queen’s Park, Moonee Ponds at 5pm on Thursday 26 January and will include an Acknowledgment of History by Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Elder Aunty Dianne Kerr with more to be announced soon.
