Community Recovery Legal Aid Drop-in

The recent floods in Moonee Valley impacted many in our community. We’re here to help. Come along to our pop up event for recovery support on Thursday, 10 August.

Were you impacted by floods in 2022? If so, we encourage you to attend this is a free event for anyone who was affected in any way by the October 2022 flood event or people who are supporting those affected.

The drop-in session will be an opportunity for attendees to engage with community services and organisations who provide legal aid. This includes financial counselling, and support navigating insurance claims. Attendees can ask questions and receive information on accessing services.

If you would like to access support services or financial aid and do not know where to begin, this event is for you.

  • Anglicare Financial Counselling
  • Disaster Legal Help Victoria
  • WEst Justice
  • Berrill & Watson Lawyers

What are the event details?

  • When: Thursday, 10 August from 3:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Where: Maribyrnong Community Centre (9 Randall St, Maribyrnong VIC 3032).

Flyers and take-home information will be available and refreshments will be provided.

This event is a collaboration between Maribyrnong City Council and Moonee Valley City Council, supported by Emergency Recovery Victoria.
