Community Satisfaction Survey 2026

It’s that time of the year again! We’re getting ready to carry out the annual Community Satisfaction Survey. 

This importance piece of research lets us know what’s working well for you, and where you’d love to see improvements.

Starting from next week and right up until Easter, you might be contacted by a TKW Research representative – they’re the fieldwork providers we’ve contracted to capture your responses. 

Not everyone will be contacted, and that’s okay. 

Participants are chosen at random. We work hard to survey a statistically representative sample of Moonee Valley residents aged 18 and over, so we understand how people of different ages, genders, suburbs and backgrounds feel about life in our municipality. 

While you don’t have to do the survey, we love hearing from you about your experience living in Moonee Valley. You can be sure that your responses will help inform our work here at Council. 

Visit at home

Just like in 2025, we’ll be conducting surveys face-to-face! 

The researcher will be able to provide you official documentation from Council, to help you trust the process. If you’re not home when they knock, never mind – the team will leave behind a note pointing you to an online version of the survey.  

Over the phone

We’re also contacting residents by phone and online this year. You might have done the survey this way in the past. If you’re randomly selected to participate in the survey, our representative might try reaching you at home or on your mobile. They will always dial from a mobile phone number. 

Online

It’s important we try and capture as many different voices in Moonee Valley as possible. That’s why we’re also recruiting some survey participants online this year. Some residents may see ads on social media inviting them to be part of the process.
