Event Details
Join us at the Djerring Flemington Hub this NAIDOC Week as we hear from Jacara Egan on Wayapa Wuurrk.
Wayapa was created to change thinking around what it means to be well, with a focus on Indigenous thinking. This includes learning how to develop a relationship with our environment through the concept of ancient earth mindfulness. No matter how many gym sessions we do, steps we count or stretch our bodies into various postures, we can’t be well if Mother Earth is sick.
After the cultural session, light refreshments will also be provided. Blakbrews will also be attending the event, showcasing Native Australian teas and Herbal Bush teas.
