Extended opening hours during heatwave

You can find a safe, cool place to relax and recharge at a number of Council facilities during the extreme heat today.

Escape the heat at your local library branch and enjoy air-conditioned spaces, free Wi-Fi, drinking water, as well as a wide range of books, magazines and newspapers to read.

Flemington and Niddrie Libraries will remain open until 8pm on Tuesday, 27 January.

Sam Merrifield (Moonee Ponds) Library will be open until 9pm on Tuesday, 27 January.

Djerring Flemington Hub will also be extending opening hours and welcoming the community into its air-conditioned spaces until 8pm on Tuesday, 27 January.
