Hall Street Pop Up Stage:
2:00PM – The Georgia Brooks Swingtet
Imbued with a decidedly vintage tone, a natural elegance and a great respect for the classic repertoire of the 1920s and 30s, Georgia Brooks and her toe-tapping swingtet channel the spirit of classic swing-era jazz clubs.
3:30PM – Jake Amy Trio
Jake Amy delivers a raw and energetic fusion between hip-slinging Afro Cuban syncopation, jungle beats and dark house colours. An amalgamation of some of Australia’s leading improvisers, Jake’s trio consists of Jordan Pereira on drums and Stephen Lane on bass.
5:00PM – Kaiit
Described as the lovechild of Jill Scott and Erykah Badu by Scott herself, PNG-born soul and hip-hop artist Kaiit charms audiences as she flips between chilled soul and feisty rhymes. Since taking home the Best Soul/R&B Award at the 2019 ARIAs, Kaiit has been busy playing festivals and supporting international heavyweights SZA and The Internet on tour.
