Have you looked Under the Bridge recently?

Four huge murals have been painted over the plain concrete pillars beneath the CityLink Tullamarine Freeway tunnel, bringing life and light to the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail.

The Flemington Mural Project, ‘Under the Bridge’ is a public art project funded by the State Government’s Working for Victoria program. Artist Tom Civil, supported by artists Hacer Camdal, Tricia Vandal and Edwina Green spent 2021 in cranes and scissor lifts decorating the pillars with murals that celebrate the environmental and cultural benefits of healthy waterways.

You can find the enormous murals near Debney’s Park in Flemington along the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail.
