Have your say on Hallkeeper Lane’s new look

Hallkeeper Lane, opposite Moonee Ponds Train Station between Margaret Street and Des Nunan Car Park has been temporarily closed since late 2020, resulting in new outdoor dining areas, a small community space and a safe pedestrian link through Moonee Ponds.

After a strong community response in support of continuing the closure and retaining Hallkeeper Lane as a permanent pedestrian and community space, Council is now looking at the next steps in designing the space!

Council intends to:

  • install permanent barriers at either end of the laneway
  • undertake future improvements to create a vibrant community space that includes greenery and seating.
