Have your say on plans to enhance Nursery Corner (Ngawe Burrung) Reserve

Moonee Valley City Council is calling upon the community to have their say on the draft Nursery Corner Reserve Master Plan until 5pm on Tuesday, 12 October.
Mayor Cam Nation said that Council has being working on a master plan for Nursery Corner Reserve, after receiving feedback from residents in 2018 about the former plant nursery site.
“Council is calling for those that know and use Nursery Corner Reserve to help guide the design, development and management of the Reserve over the next 15 years,” said Cr Nation.
“This draft master plan proposes elements to celebrate Aboriginal cultural heritage and history, recognise the importance of Moonee Ponds Creek, and enhance the biodiversity and habitat of the area, including a new wetland.
“The proposal also includes adventure play and recreational activities and spaces for learning, sharing and gathering – something we have come to appreciate so much more during the past two years!” said Cr Nation.
