Have your say on renaming sections of Aspen Street

Council is inviting the community to share ideas for the proposed renaming of two sections of Aspen Street in Moonee Ponds.

The proposed changes apply to two sections of Aspen Street and suggestions will help Council develop a shortlist of potential names before formal community consultation begins on selected options.

We’re especially encouraging name ideas that:

• celebrate Moonee Valley’s diverse multicultural community
• recognise notable women who have made a meaningful impact on our City
• reflect our Indigenous history and heritage

Names already included in Council’s Name Bank register will also be considered.

This is an opportunity for the community to help shape local places and ensure our street names reflect the stories, people and culture that make Moonee Valley unique.

Consultation closes 27 March.
