Enrolling into Healthy Ageing programs
To enrol, please fill in the registration form.
Once completed and with your permission, the Healthy Ageing Officer will then refer you to My Aged Care.

Healthy Ageing Exercise Program
Council offers a range of affordable classes to improve the health and wellbeing of seniors. The Healthy Ageing exercise programs cost $9 per session for individuals aged 65+ and enrolled with My Aged Care, or, $16.80 per session for individuals outside of this category.
The classes cover exercise programs including:
- Strength training
- Tai Chi
- Yoga
- Zumba
- Pilates

Great Getaways
Join us to explore and experience the best Victoria has to offer! You will be transported via bus to coastal, leafy, cosmopolitan and architectural sites across the state.
Each outing costs $25 and includes pickup from one of the following locations:

Ascot Vale Neighbourhood Centre

Cooper Street Community Centre

Moonee Valley Council Civic Centre
This program is for eligible My Aged Care or HACC PYP residents.
Activities are subject to change. If an activity is cancelled you will be notified a minimum of 24 hours before the event.
Knit and Knatter
Have you always wanted to knit but don’t know how? Or are you a skilled knitter and just want to be able to meet like-minded people?
Then come along to the Ascot Vale Neighbourhood Centre and create items that benefit the community. All materials are provided, and there is no cost to attend if you’re registered with My Aged Care.
This program runs on Tuesdays at 10.30am, and is held at the Corner of Munro Street and Union Road, Ascot Vale.

Social links
Social Links is a great way to stay connected to your peers and the community. The group meets monthly for lunch and also enjoy an activity such as trivia, or exercise.
This group meet once a month, and sessions only cost $22 including lunch.
