Community Grants Writing Workshop Online

Did you know that Moonee Valley City Council offers a range of community grants?

Our grants program funds individuals, community groups and businesses to make Moonee Valley an even better place to live, work and play!

Applications for the next round of Biannual Grants opens Thursday 24 July, and candidates have until 24 August to submit their applications.

Who’s eligible?

Grants are available in several different streams:

  • First Peoples Grants: Supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and organisations to deliver local projects
  • Social Support Grants: operational funding for small social support groups run by volunteers
  • Community Projects Grants: One-off community projects, pilot programs and small capital works
  • Climate Action Grants: Renewable energy transitions and community projects promoting climate resilience
  • Arts and Events Grants: Arts projects and events or festivals that benefit the Moonee Valley community
  • Business Projects Grants: Small storefront and outdoor space beautification and inclusion or collaboration projects
