Did you know that Council is the responsible authority for naming of community assets?
This includes roads, parks, localities and other places. It also includes recognising special people from our community through the naming of memorials, plaques and trees.
Council recognises that some community members wish to acknowledge the life of a deceased person or association or event by establishing a memorial in public open space on Council owned or managed property.
