Need help getting vaccinated? We’re offering a free vaccination support service!

Vaccination support service

Vaccination is one of the best ways to keep ourselves and those around us safe from COVID-19.

For some, getting vaccinated hasn’t necessarily been an easy thing to do. Mental health, social anxiety,  home circumstances, family disputes, cultural sensitivities and language barriers are just some of the reasons that have prevented some members of the community from getting vaccinated.

To help, Council is offering a free, personalised and confidential service to help people get their first vaccination until Sunday, 15 May 2022.

The service includes the following optional extras:

  • access to specialist counselling support
  • transport to and from a vaccination appointment
  • in-home vaccination
  • presence of a therapy dog
