Observe our Community Advisory Panel in action this Sunday

You might already know about our Community Advisory Panel – a diverse group of community volunteers who come together to discuss a range of topics important to Moonee Valley and its people.

But did you know you can observe Community Advisory Panel sessions?

Observers are an important part of any deliberative process. By being an observer, you can help relay to the broader community the Panel’s discussions, ultimately helping build understanding of the process and appreciation of the time and effort our community panelists put in.

Our latest panel is exploring a significant question: ‘We want to understand what a thriving community looks like in Moonee Valley. To achieve the MV2040 vision what should be the top 15 priority outcomes?’

The group have already met twice, getting to know one another and learning more about Council before putting together a draft outcome statement.

The panel will convene for a third time this Sunday, 23 February from 9.00am to 4.00pm at the Clocktower Centre. Observers are welcome.

Anyone interested in attending as an observer should read our Observer Guidelines.

The City of Moonee Valley thanks our community advisory panel members for their generosity and dedication to this important process.
